Merry Christmas 2020

It has been quite the year! In February Austin accepted a job with Facebook. We left our home in South Jordan, UT and moved to the San Fransisco Bay Area (Fremont). After moving, they told Austin to stay put because he would be working from home... HA. We stayed in the Bay Area until October when we decided it would be right for us to head back to Utah. We then bought our current home in Herriman, UT. Austin is still working from home, and we hope he can continue to do so indefinitely. Through all the craziness I decided to get certified as a High Fitness instructor. Building up classes and participants with moving and Covid has been slow, but it has become my outlet. I enjoy the "me time."

Vienna (4) and Cosette (almost 2) have been troopers through it all. It's not joke moving twice in one year, let alone during a pandemic. The girls have taken it all in stride. Vienna is in pre-school here in Utah. She wears a mask to school and tries her best to social distance. She is our tender, kind, and creative girl. She loves Frozen, princesses, and all things girly. We went to a butterfly museum recently and she was TERRIFIED of the live butterflies (haha see what I mean about tender?). Cosie is brave, opinionated, intuitive and cuddly. She loves to count, sing 'Popcorn Popping', dance, and listen to the song "Down" by Jay Sean. Both of our girls are happy and healthy and we couldn't be more grateful to have them in our family.

Above all we are grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the reason we can always have hope and joy in this life. How grateful we are to celebrate His birth this Christmas season.

Stay healthy, friends! May this next year be better than the last!

Vienna Turns 4

Vienna is 4!! She’s smart, sensitive, and expressive. Her favorite food is pasta. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She loves to dance, play outside, ride her scooter, and play with play-doh. Her favorite shows are Frozen (1 & 2) and PJ Masks. She loves mermaids, rainbows, and super heroes. She knows all her letters, but doesn’t particularly love "learning time." You can often find her walking around on her tip toes pretending to be a ballerina. If Covid wasn't a thing she'd be in gymnastics or dance classes, or both ha. Cosie likes her call her "Nana", "Nani", or "VeeVee". She is a great helper around the house. She likes to help unload the silverware or wash the windows. We love her more than words could ever explain. Happy Birthday, Vienna Girl!!

18 Months

Cosette is such a happy girl! She is smiling and laughing the majority of the time. We would have never guessed it, with Austin's darker features, but she's BLONDE with hazel eyes. She's in size 4 diapers and 18 month clothes. She's a total Mama's girl. She has slept through the night since about 13 months and never looked back (THANK GOODNESS... that first year was a doozy HA). She loves animals, especially dogs. She also loves to dance, especially to her favorite song, "Down" by Jay Sean (hahhahaha). She asks for it every single time we get in the car. Her language has exploded over the past month or so. This week she said, "Mama, where are you?" and it shocked me! She's learning new words and phrases all the time. She loves her big sister "Nana" or "Eeeena". She's a good listener. She cleans up toys whenever we ask. She still eats more than Vienna, but is becoming a little more picky. She especially enjoys going on walks and being outside. She tans better than all of us combined. My favorite part of the day is putting her to bed, when hugs me and lays her head on my chest and we sing a songs together. She is such a ray of sunshine in our lives. We love you so much, Cosie Girl!
