C: You are officially one month old! At your two week check up you were 7lb 12oz (32%), 21.25in (83%) in length. You have already outgrown some of your newborn clothes. You have been an excellent eater from day one. You eat about 4 oz every time you eat. Consequently, you poop like there is no tomorrow... so that's fun. You are not a great sleeper like your older sister, unfortunately. You sleep one 3-4 hour stretch at night and are then up every hour or so after that. Such is the newborn stage though! You have a hard time falling asleep so you spend a lot of time in our arms. You are generally more fussy than Vienna was, but we love you just the same.
Me: Adjusting to life with two kids is no joke! The sleep deprivation is what's getting to me the most. We're adjusting though. I'm napping when I can, and not feeling bad about leaving dishes in the sink or laundry in the hamper. There will be a time when my house is clean again. There will also be a time when Vienna stops watching so much TV, but now is not that time. I'm basically fully recovered (probably about 90%.) I'm excited to get back to the gym, but that may not happen until Cos gets on a more consistent schedule.We have amazing friends and family who are helping us with meals, babysitting, cleaning, etc. We love this new little addition to our family. Life is good.
